For starters, Nissan has stepped up its small car game with the 2018 Kicks.
This fun car is Nissan’s newest addition in the affordable compact crossover market. The new Kicks becomes the sixth member of the Nissan crossover and SUV line-up. It is the perfect car for young singles and couples looking for both style and personal technology, all for a modest price point starting under $18,000.
The rolling out car team had a chance to test drive the 2018 Kicks. Once inside, you can’t help but notice the comfortable leather-stitched seats and dashboard. What sets the seating and dash apart is the accented stitching. In our Kicks SR, it was black leather with a burnt orange stitch.
Nissan offers a load of technology in this car. The user-friendly seven-inch touchscreen navigation makes smartphone connectivity easy with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It’s also equipped with SiriusXM satellite radio.
Other Kicks’ features include an available Intelligent Around View® Monitor (I-AVM), a parking aid that gives drivers a bird’s-eye view of all positions of your car. At the touch of the button, you can see a top view around the car and also preset which view best suits your needs.
To top things off, you have an array of color choices. Nissan offers a range of seven exterior colors for the Kicks plus five two-tone combinations.
