Summer is around the corner and so are the numerous music festivals that you can choose to attend to liven up the hottest months of the year. Here we have created a list in chronological order of some of the best music festivals this summer.
Freak Nik Festival — After 9 Partners is bringing back a taste of Atlanta’s Freak Nik with this festival. The show will be held on June 22, 2019, at the Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood. The festival will feature iconic acts like Uncle Luke, Bun B, Trina, Juvenile and more. Tickets are on sale now and start at $51 for general admission lawn seating.
Essence Festival — This year the annual festival will be celebrating its 25th anniversary in New Orleans. From July 5-7, 2019 fans will enjoy musical performances from Missy Elliot, Mary J. Blige, NAS and more. The tickets are on sale now for $87 per day.
Lollapalooza — This Chicago based festival will take place in the city’s famous Grant Park on August 1-4, 2019. The line up will feature Childish Gambino, Ariana Grande, H.E.R., Lil Baby and more. General admission for the 4-day festival starts at $340.
Real Street – The radio station Real 92.3 is hosting Real Street Festival at the Honda Center Grounds in Anaheim, California on August 10-11, 2019. This is the inaugural year for the festival, but the line up does not disappoint with Meek Mill, Cardi B, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Megan Thee Stallion on the list, among others.
Made in America – This music festival was founded by rapper and mogul Jay Z and has grown immensely over the year. This year the Philadelphia based festival will be held on August 31 — September 1, 2019, at Ben Franklin Parkway. Travis Scott and Cardi B will be headliners this year. Gucci Mane, Lizzo and Kodak Black will also be some of the featured artists to perform. General admission tickets for the festival start at $175.
One Musicfest – This festival will take over Atlanta’s historic Centennial Olympic Park for its 10th anniversary this year. From September 7-9, 2019 the tickets are on sale now for the early bird price of $109. The line up will be announced June 4, 2019, which featured Big Sean, Monica, 2 Chainz, H.E.R and more last year.
Music Midtown — The Atlanta based music festival that takes over Piedmont Park every year, is stepping up its game with this year’s lineup. Cardi B, Travis Scott, 6LACK and more, will perform on September 14-15 2019. General admission tickets are $155.
