Media maven Wendy Williams shocked her audience when she tearily admitted she’s falling hard for her new man.
However, in another shocker, Wendy (who’s known by her first name) has flung aside the young boy toy Marc Tomblin, 27, for the embrace of a more chronologically mature man. In fact, the mystery man is a doctor, Wendy revealed on her eponymous daytime talk show.
“I’m not on the market anymore,” she declared triumphantly, as her audience roared with approval. “I’m not in love, but there’s someone I’m crazy about!”
Wendy, 54, who is still in the throes of a contentious divorce with estranged husband Kevin Hunter, was shedding tears during her “Hot Topics” segment as her audience chanted “Wendy! Wendy! Wendy!”
When Wendy composed herself, she tells her audience that her time with Tomblin was never a romantic situation, but was a platonic friendship. Tomblin has been seen frequently with Wendy since first spotting them together in Los Angeles during the “Wendy Williams Show” 5-week hiatus. He even flew back with Wendy to New York where she lives and where the show is taped.
Wendy, however, says there’s nothing going on.
“Listen, it’s not who you think! Mama doesn’t deal with children,” she said. “It just so happens, with my charm and whit, that I attract people of all ages.”
The talk show queen would only entice her audience with bite-sized information about her new beau.
“When it comes time for the comfort of a man, I need someone in their 50s too, and he’s got to work,” she said. “And, it doesn’t’ hurt that he’s a doctor,” she continued, noting that she would not reveal his identity. “I am not going to say one more word. You’re not going to blow this for me.”
However, like a young schoolgirl who is completely enamored with a new beau in her life, Wendy gave a little bit more information.
“Yes, he’s brown/black… And, you know when you’re 50 you can sometimes let it all go,” she said, as she flexed her arm to indicate that her man is sporting muscles.
