Dramatics and curse words erupted like fireworks when rapper-producer Joe Budden appeared on Nicki Minaj’s “Queen Radio” and was accused of verbally attacking women when “they can’t defend themselves.”

Minaj, 36, and Budden, 38, attempted to reconcile their beef stemming from negative things that Budden said about Minaj in the past on his own podcast show.

In 2018, as an example, Budden said on “The Joe Budden Podcast,” that Minaj was spiraling from prolonged drug use: “Let’s all try to guess the drugs that Nicki Minaj is on. Somebody should watch her usage. Nicki Minaj is 100 percent on something,” he said at the time rolling out reported.

Budden also said Minaj’s collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion for her “Hot Girl Summer” was staged on Instagram Live and part of the single’s rollout. Minaj took umbrage at that characterization and was still fuming about it months later.

The conversation went left when Budden broached the topic of Nicki and Cardi B’s involvement with the Migos’ “MotorSport” single. The tension ratcheted up even higher when Minaj confronted Budden, who said she was on drugs and powerful prescription pills last summer.

“Your entire last album did that. Your past is littered with it. Who gives a f— what she pop? But don’t sit here and act like you’ve never popped a pill,” Budden barked.

Minaj roared back at Budden, saying, “Are you that f—ing dumb? You like tearing down women when they can’t defend themselves.”

When the conversation degenerated into a verbal brawl, Minaj instructed producers to go to a commercial and cut Budden’s mic off.
