Award-winning actress Viola Davis was cheesing hard on the red carpet premiere of Angry Birds 2 that her daughter is starring in.
The “How to Get Away With Murder” star was with her 9-year-old daughter Genesis Tennon and husband Julius Tennon as they basked in the exciting moment for the prepubescent thespian in Los Angeles.
Davis, a superstar who won an Oscar for her role in Fences and an Emmy for the riveting portrayal of a professor in “How to Get Away With Murder” — not to mention a Golden Globe for The Help — fawned over her daughter Genesis who is following in the matriarch’s footsteps.
Genesis provided the voice of a hatchling named Vivi, which will mark Genesis’s first credited acting role.

Genesis told the Essence magazine that her parents were excited but contained about her entry onto the Hollywood stage, albeit in a voice-over role. “No matter what people say, you should keep moving forward,” Genesis said. “So that’s what I’m going to do.”
