Actress Tamera Mowry revealed during an interview with HOT 97 in New York that she lost her virginity at 29. “I don’t know how to explain this. I’m religious, so I waited until I was 29 to lose my virginity,” she said during her interview. “You may not understand this [but] I did it, then I felt guilty, then I became celibate until I got married.” Mowry married Adam Housley in 2011.
Tia Mowry
Similar to her twin sister Tamera, Tia said that she waited to have sex until her 20s. During an interview with Ebony, Mowry said, she didn’t have sex until 25. “I lost my virginity at 25,” Mowry said. “So [my husband and I] even waited for a while to even get intimate. This works for some people and it doesn’t work for some people and it’s OK.”
Mariah Carey
The songstress told US magazine that she was a virgin until 23. Carey lost her virginity in 1993 when she married Sony Music executive Tommy Mottola. In 2019, Carey, 49, told Cosmopolitan that she only had five sex partners in her life.
