Rock Creek Park in Washington, D.C.’s Northwest quadrant is an oasis for outdoor enthusiasts in the city. The park has lush greenery and miles of trails and picnic areas in an urban setting. It’s also the title of a ’70s R&B song that depicts Rock Creek as a cool, hip place to vibe.
Nissan has unveiled its 2019 Pathfinder, the Rock Creek edition. This crossover SUV metaphorically characterizes both the park and song, which connects the vehicle to its adventure-minded target customers. The Rock Creek name also connects to Pathfinder’s proud rugged heritage.
What sets the Rock Creek edition apart from the standard Pathfinder is the unique dark 18-inch wheels with unique 255/60R18 all-season tires. It also features a black mesh grille, black roof rails, black door handles and outside rearview mirrors. Nissan offers the special Rock Creek edition on mid-level SV and SL trims of the Pathfinder. There are also seven exterior colors available to make your Rock Creek experience unique.
For the outdoor zealot, every Rock Creek edition features a standard tow hitch capable of towing 6,000 pounds, harness and splash guard.
Don’t let the Pathfinder’s ruggedness fool you. The interior has stylish two-tone seating surfaces, badging, and high contrast stitching on seats, doors, console lid and steering wheel.
The current MSRP is $35,960. As featured with Rock Creek badging, $39,675.00.
Nissan’s 2019 Rock Creek Pathfinder is the cool, hip SUV for the adventurist who loves urban living and outdoor fun.
