The son of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star Stevie J has been arrested in Buffalo and remains confined in an Erie County, New York jail.

Rapper Dorian Henderson, 24, was apprehended on weapons charges in the state with one of the strictest guns laws in the country. He was picked up on Halloween night and taken to the Erie County Correctional Center where he remains.

There is no indication yet as to what precipitated the arrest and what specific firearm Henderson had on his person when he was arrested.

Because of New York’s laws, Henderson faces up to four years in prison if found guilty.

Stevie J, who was born Steven Aaron Jordan in Buffalo, was considered one of the most successful record producers of the mid-to-late 1990s, Jordan won a 1997 Grammy Award for his work on Diddy’s (then known as Puff Daddy and Puffy) debut album No Way Out. He also produced hits for a number of artists including Mariah Carey, Tevin Campbell, The Notorious B.I.G., 112, Jodeci, Faith Evans, Jay-Z, and Eve.

Over the last few years, Stevie J and Henderson have reconciled their relationship. Fans recall that two years ago, Henderson released a diss track against his father, claiming he was not very involved in his life.
