BettieGang Twinz double up at CRC Studios for listening party in Chicago

BettieGang Twinz are the latest up-and-coming rappers from the West Side of Chicago. These sisters — Latonya Jones, aka S. Geezy, and Latisha Jones, aka L. Beezy — are colorful, talented and often finish each other’s sentences.

On Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019, they had a private listening party at CRC Studios hosted by SeanDale from Raw Radio on Power 92.3 and spotlighting their latest release, Dreams and Lifestyles. The lead single, “Drip A Lot,” has been getting major spins on local radio, and the BettieGang Twinz have their eye in the prize.

Big things are on the horizon for them as the buzz continues to grow about the stylish duo, which is set to make an impact on the industry.

Rolling out caught up with them to ask a few questions during the hectic listening session.

How do you feel about this latest release?

L. Beezy and S. Geezy (simultaneously): We are really excited.

We are moving into a new decade. Who do you represent in this new decade when it comes to music?

L. Beezy: BettieGang Twinz. Hello! People can relate to the type of music that we do. Some people probably go through what we talk about. Some people have probably been through it. We are relating to the people. We want everybody to feel where we are coming from in this new decade.

S. Geezy: We want to continue our legacy. We want to get to the top. We are going to keep striving.

You mentioned a very powerful word: legacy. Considering you are just starting out, what would you want your legacy to be?

L. Beezy: We want to change the game, talk about real stuff and be the best at what we do. What we do is music.
