What are the top five ways people can help stop the spread of coronavirus?
1. Stay home when possible. Even small group settings can end up infecting hundreds of others through regular activity.
2. Wash your hands with soap and water for 20 to 30 seconds, and clean under the fingernails with each wash. Apply moisturizer to protect the skin from long-term damage, cracking and further exposure to the dermis.
3. Do not make home hand sanitizer. People are making ineffective formulas or burning themselves with dangerous recipes.
4. When you must leave home, work outside, etc., and you cannot wash your hands, use disposable nitrile gloves when you have to — and change them often. Dispose of used gloves in a sealed bag.
5. Do not bring personal recycle bags to grocery stores. These bags are mostly porous and they carry the germs from your personal space causing cross-contamination to others.
What is the best way for people to boost their immune systems?
Immunity will not prevent you from getting COVID-19, but a strong immune system may help you recover. I recommend 1000 mg of Vitamin C daily, Vitamin D or E either two hours before or after taking Vitamin C; elderberry tea or gummies; a high-quality multivitamin. Our body needs a strong source of micronutrients daily. Women should pay attention to their daily iron intake.
