How do you implement new marketing strategies to remain relevant in the marketplace?
There are always new and fresh ideas and new perspectives to look at. As long as you’re keeping up with the technology that’s coming out, you’re able to create whatever type of content you want. There’s an audience for everything.
Name two thought leaders or people in the film industry you admire.
Spike Lee, of course. He went out and started making films that were different from what we had been seeing while staying true to his art form. Ava DuVernay is just killing it. It’s like everything that she touches is gold. So, she’s not only making her own projects, but she’s [also] pulling so many unknown filmmakers up, which is what I truly love.
