Atlanta strip club Magic City offering interactive lap dances during quarantine

Katrina Fuqua, the brand manager at Magic City, said club owners decided to develop their own website where customers would be able to immerse themselves in “virtual lap dances.”

“We’re just trying to get some money in our girls’ hands,” Fuqua said regarding the citywide ban on public gatherings of more than 10 people. “We’re just trying to help our girls out.”

According to Fuqua, this is how “virtual lap dance” would work. Fans can log onto magiccitylive.com where they will see photos of several women. After viewing the photos and bios of the women on the site, the prospective patron can choose one. The person can then choose to either pay a $20 monthly subscription or $79.99 yearly subscription.

After the payment is made, the customer can see more photos of the dancer and one or two videos. If the person desires to take it a step further, Fuqua said, the customer can click on the selected dancer’s personal webcam. At that point, the dancer will set the rate that she wants in order for the customer to access her webcam.

“The money that they make on their webcams is considered tips, so that’s their money,” Fuqua said. “And they don’t have to take their clothes off if they don’t want to. You don’t have to do all of that. They can stay in their outfits, dance in their clothes and talk to the people. We don’t want [the dancers] to think they have to do anything sexual. We don’t want anyone to think they have to do something they are uncomfortable with.”
