How did you find out about the opportunity to buy info about the franchise for HDF?
I learned about the opportunity when I met another franchise owner . He was very transparent in providing me information and answering all the questions about purchasing a franchise. I looked for anything I could find online to do my own additional research and made the decision in June of 2020 to buy into the business. Opportunities for franchises and to have amazing black female owners franchise owners are [limited] by them making it financially unattainable for us become partners.
Why a Voorhees, New Jersey, location?
It was important for me to bring the first location to South Jersey since I live in the community. Both of my children attend school in South Jersey. My son is a junior at Widener University and my daughter attends Lenape High School.
One of my main goals is to bring jobs to the area which positions them to [provide] countless opportunities to give back. Our communities have been impacted by the loss of jobs and businesses. I’ve been able to hire four amazing employees and I’m very optimistic that in the future I will be able to create growth opportunities.
