If you could thank any Black woman for her contributions to history and society, who would it be and why?​

If I could thank any Black woman for her contributions to history and society it would be Dr. Jane Hinton for being one of the first African American women to graduate from veterinary school and because of her work in bacterial antibiotic resistance.


What three success habits do you incorporate into your daily routine to maintain your success, sanity and peace of mind?

In life, I incorporate daily meditation to help cope with stress; daily reading to enrich and inspire my mind; daily practice of defining work-life boundaries to keep my peace of mind.


As a successful woman in business, what is your greatest or proudest achievement? 

As a successful woman in business, my greatest achievement is knowing my self-worth. This allows me to set and follow goals for myself while giving me the confidence to pursue a variety of opportunities in the veterinary industry as well as other industries.
