Why is it important for women of color to work in leadership roles and decision-making capacities?

Because the insight and perspective allow for well-rounded solutions. Representation is a competitive advantage as the culture continues to evolve.


What thoughtful or encouraging piece of advice would you give to your younger self?

I would tell my younger self never to spend one moment coveting what someone else has because it’s their life and story. Choose to celebrate and uplift others.


What three success habits do you incorporate into your daily routine to maintain your success, sanity, and peace of mind?

I wouldn’t be here without prayer, encouraging and supportive conversations with friends. Staying active by playing indoor tennis and yoga definitely helps to keep me sane.

As a successful woman in business, what is your greatest or proudest achievement?

I’ve experienced epic success over the last five years, but the one thing that brings me great joy is seeing the men and women I’ve mentored succeed.
