While the vaccine itself continues to be a divisive topic, there are a number of underserved Black communities that have not been targeted with adequate information.
“It’s critically important that organizations like the American King Foundation and the Urban Global Health Alliance continue to inform Black American’s about this will be pushed into a new slave system. This new form of segregation and divisiveness has to stop! We must unite to save humanity from tyranny,” says Kevin Jenkins, CEO of Urban Global Alliance.
Stanton-King says the plan is to take the tour to Black communities and give people the opportunity to speak with medical and legal experts they normally wouldn’t have access to.
“Our history shows we have consistently suffered for lack of knowledge. Many times it wasn’t that we didn’t want the information, it was often kept from us on purpose. This is a new day. We are responsible for getting the information to our communities. We can’t place that burden on another group, it’s our responsibility,” says Stanton-King.
