Chuck D becomes public enemy No. 1 for asking if R. Kelly can be rehabilitated

Never one to evade the heat, Chuck D interacted with people on Twitter as many couldn’t believe his comments and felt he was forgetting about R. Kelly’s victims. The “Don’t Believe The Hype” rapper still never swayed from his comments and continued to ask why it took so long for R. Kelly to be the poster boy for cancel culture.

“I’m stunned how this took this long and how the business machines around him are unidentifiable and they also perpetuated the fanaticism of what he was. And masses hung on as the radio & BET played on. With support non stop. Allowing it to grow bigger,” he wrote.

Check out a few comments below as Chuck D faced a tweetstorm.
