A court has confirmed that Bow Wow is the father of 1-year-old Stone Moss. The “Shortie Like Mine” rapper announced the child’s birth last year, but his recent social media posts imply that he wasn’t positive if Stone was his as he only claimed to have one child, his 10-year-old daughter, Shai Moss.
The Neighborhood Talk posted the legal document on Instagram, which states: “It is the Judgment of this Court that the Child of the parties, Stone Kamin (child’) born in 2020 is hereby declared to be the legitimate son of Respondent, Shad Moss, capable of inheriting from Respondent in the same manner as if born in lawful wedlock. The Child shall hereafter be known as Stone Moss and the Department of Vital Statistics shall show the Child’s birth certificate to include Respondent as father.”
Bow Wow acknowledged the post, commenting, “Such a blessing to have him in my life,” with a heart emoji.
The paternity question surrounding Stone emerged in September around the same time that Olivia Sky, Stone’s mother, filed for child support against the rapper and actor. The Roll Bounce star then began replying to comments on social media with cryptic responses illuding to the question of paternity.
“Hell no! I’m fine with Shai!” was his response to one question asking if he wanted more kids.
When asked if he had a son, he also responded with, “NP Billie jean for the second time,” making reference to Michael Jackson’s classic hit about a false paternity case.
The rapper, born Shad Moss, attempted to clear up the miscommunication in his tweets later revealing, “For some reason, I don’t know why with him, but I’m very protective.”
He also added that he was listening to “Billie Jean” when he posted the comment and addressed it again. “Yeah, I see the question but as of right now I’m really cleaning up the crib and we just playing these 90s jams. That’s actually what I was listening to at the time, I swear to God,” he further commented.
