How DC attorney general candidate Ryan Jones plans to protect hometown

Why is it important for citizens to elect the attorney general who their best interest prioritized?

Society as a whole is becoming more critical of elected officials at more levels.

For AG, you want a great legal mind in that role. A person of great vision and empathy for all of society to protect the most vulnerable — and often ignored — to best protect everyone’s core interests of safety, freedom, and a chance to be successful.

What are your three main priorities if elected to office?

This moment in history is crucial for leaders to protect the trajectory and arch of society, in real time. There [are] too many serious causes on our hands to restrict a focus.

Can we put down police reform, for stemming gun violence, or affordable housing for women’s rights or voting rights? Should we not prioritize the environment to address financial crimes and an ever-growing cyber business world while school buildings aren’t up to code? … How do we effectively address systemic racism while forming access to courts by building out public advocacy for those — like seniors — who are taken advantage [of] and all D.C. residents who are burdened by taxation without representation?

Right now is the time for collaboration and teamwork with the willingness to [not] sacrifice individual dreams and goals for the good of our collective future.
