What or who is your inspiration?
Cardi B inspired me. I was following her on Instagram when she was just a dancer and a funny girl on the “Love & Hip Hop New York” show. Her career did a whole turn after the one record. She reminded me of myself. I related to her struggle of people not believing and only seeing you in one way. I refused to be put in a box.
What was the inspiration behind your current music project?
My current music project is called “Verified.” Funny story; I was inspired to do this record after seeing so many men slide in my DMs with a blue check on Instagram. I personally don’t care about the internet clout from guys, and I rather they be verified in real life, with real goals outside of social media, not just a blue check on Instagram. This record will be released this month … January of 2022.
