The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office in Atlanta released its official findings in the shockingly abrupt death of controversial relationship expert Kevin Samuels.

Samuels passed at age 57 inside his tony apartment in the ritzy Buckhead section of Atlanta on May 5, 2022, after suffering from hypertension.

“Evidence of hypertension includes a heart whose chambers are thicker than normal,” the medical examiner stated in his report while adding that Samuels was taking Atenolol, a drug used to treat hypertension.

Samuel’s mother, Beverly Samuels-Burch, remains embittered having learned about her son’s death from social media.

“That was a terrible thing for social media to put that out. I didn’t even know. I hadn’t even been notified,” she said, according to “NBC News.” “All I’m doing is requesting that people pray for us.”

Samuels’ blunt-force style of speaking, particularly when he criticized the women he was advising, rubbed many women the wrong way. When he passed away, many took that opportunity to pounce on him. Some folks though – particularly rap mogul T.I. – were repulsed by people throwing stones at his coffin and ordered them to back off.

“The s— is a f—— a travesty of justice,” the rapper argued at the time. “I can’t stand it, I can’t stand it. I ain’t gon’ let y’all bully this dead man. We gon’ let this man rest in peace.”
