Hollywood superstar Zendaya has made history on three different occasions with the show “Euphoria.”

The 26-year-old starlet, who was born in Oakland, California, as Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman, won another Emmy Award for lead actress in the critically-acclaimed show on Monday, Sept. 12, 2022.

Zendaya is also the first Black person to ever win two Emmys at all.

Zendaya won for her role as Rue Bennett whose childhood trauma led to her recurrent drug addiction. The show just scored a Season 3 renewal in February after the Season 2 premiere on Jan. 9 attracted 14 million total viewers at HBO and HBO Max.

During her acceptance speech, Zendaya, thanked the “Euphoria” cast and crew as well as the millions of viewers who have shared with her their stories of addiction.

“My greatest wish for ‘Euphoria’ was that it could help heal people, and I just want to say thank you to everyone who shared their story with me,” Zendaya said according to Rolling Stone. “I want you to know that anyone who has loved a Rue or feels like you are a Rue, I’m so grateful for your stories and I carry them with me and carry them with her. Thank you so much.”
