Sexyy Red has become one of the most viral female rappers over the past few months with her music and other viral moments during the summer.
She’s told several stories about her life that have left people shocked, and she recently told another one on the “Montreality” podcast about the most romantic thing a guy has ever done for her, and it didn’t involve flowers.
“It was my first boyfriend,” Sexyy Red said. “I was just in high school, he was a little older than me, and it was Valentine’s Day. He robbed somebody and gave me the money and gave me the belt he stole, and it was just so sweet ’cause he was out of breath and stuff. He was like, ‘Here, I just got this for you.’ I was like, ‘Aw, so sweet. Thank you.’ Because nobody ever did nothing like that for me. He stole for me. So, I was like, ‘Oh, you did that for me? Really?’”
Sexyy Red knew the circumstances the guy was in, but it was the thought that made it count for her.
“I know he didn’t have [the money],” Sexyy Red said. “The fact that you still made a way and you did what you had to do, that was nice, and it was only $13. But it was nice, and it was a fake Gucci belt. It was sweet.”
It doesn’t seem like either of them got in trouble for the stolen items, so it must’ve ended up being a successful move for the guy in the end.
