Chrisean Rock is responding to claims that she assaulted one of Tamar Braxton’s background singers last week.
On Tuesday, Nov. 14, Chrisean popped up on a friend’s Instagram Live feed and refuted the rumored attack on James Wright Chanel after reportedly being upset about being denied access to the stage after missing her cue.
“N—– is evil nowadays and they so old and washed up, they don’t know what to do. That’s the last resort. So, good luck with that though. You feel me? I’m not here to f— people over. F— that. I left my son at home to get embarrassed? And then they tried to lie about the embarrassment and say I hit somebody. Did I hit somebody or get embarrassed? It would have been a video! They lying and s—, don’t got no police report….Just clout chasing.”
According to several eye witnesses, Rock punched Wright Chanel several times, causing him to be hospitalized and have dental work done. Braxton herself was an alleged witness and called Chrisean out by name when speaking about the incident in a Instagram video.
“I wasn’t going to say anything out of respect for James and his trauma at what happened to him,” Braxton began. “When I say what happened, he got assaulted at my show and it was by Chrisean, but there was a lot of events that I believe were misconstrued.”
“The reason why I decided to say something — number one, I care about my team,” she continues. “They are all my friends and we put this all together for the fans. I’m not a clout chaser, I don’t need that. My circle is this small.”
At this time, no criminal charges have been filed against Chrisean Rock.
