Some fans were quick to suggest that the Christmas holiday hookup between Cardi B and Offset symbolized their efforts at reconciliation again.
Not so fast.
A tweet by @TheePopFeed claimed on Wednesday, “Cardi B has officially took Offset back after 12 days.”
However, a fan then responded to @TheePopFeed with a video clip of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss saying, “You just made that up.” The inference here is that @TheePopFeed was merely speculating and could not substantiate the statement that the estranged spouses have reconciled.
Internet sleuths quickly noticed that Cardi B liked the response to @TheePopFeed.

Some fans surmised that Cardi was only connected with Offset on Christmas Day for the sake of their two children, Kulture, 5, and Wave, 2.
“They don’t expect ppl who have kids together to co-parent,” one X user said, while another added, “Could she not have went for herself and Wave?”
“Y’all be going hard on Cardi. Like this some dude she just messing around with. This is her husband her kids’ father,” said a third respondent. “Let them deal with their MARRIAGE. I know a lot of y’all don’t know how that goes but folks go through s–- but don’t mean a united front won’t happen for them kids!”
The biggest indication of marital strife happened earlier in December when the two rap stars unfollowed each other on Instagram, seemingly the modern-day confirmation of a breakup.
Cardi then confirmed to her 170 million Instagram followers that she is looking to drop dead weight in 2024 and start anew.
“I want to start 2024 fresh, open. I’m curious for a new life, a new beginning. I’m excited,” she said in the IG Live video.
Cardi, 31, and Offset, 32, were secretly married in 2017 and also co-parent the husband’s three other children from previous relationships: Jordan, 14, Kody, 8, and Kalea Marie, 8.
