Megan Thee Stallion continues to push the consistent message to her fans: She is back.
On Jan. 30, The superstar rapper from Houston announced on “Good Morning America” that she was set to hit the road for the Hot Girl Summer Tour.
“We’re having the tour this year,” Stallion said. “The Hot Girl Summer Tour is going to be 2024, summertime.”
The artist went on to say the concert series will be invigorating for her.
“I feel like I’ve never been able to be outside, doing my own thing during the summer,” Stallion said. “Since like 2019. So this is going to be the first time I drop an album on time for the summer.”
Despite being managed by Roc Nation, Stallion is now a fully independent artist after her nasty divorce from her previous label with former MLB All-Star Carl Crawford and 1501 Certified Entertainment. This new era for her will be energizing for her fans as well, she said.
“I do want to give the Hotties the Megan Thee Stallion experience,” Stallion said.

In her independent era, she has released “Cobra” and “HISS.”
The artist has had a lot of real-life experiences to pull from. She has experienced it losing both of her parents; taking Tory Lanez to court — which led to him receiving a 10-year prison sentence; being allegedly dissed by Drake; breaking up with her boyfriend Pardison Fontaine, who then released a diss song about her; and now Nicki Minaj responding to a diss Stallion sent to her in “HISS.”
