Usher goes missing in Las Vegas during a hilarious homage to The Hangover alongside frequent collaborators Ludacris and Lil Jon as well as Taraji P. Henson in a new “mini movie” serving as promo for his upcoming Super Bowl halftime show.
In a scene straight from the classic film, Luda, Jon and Taraji are given clues as they scour Las Vegas looking for Usher after a wild party to get him to his Super Bowl performance on time. Eventually the trio decide to split up to “cover more ground” in their efforts and run into a host of celebrities all playing fictionalized versions of themselves including André 3000, Anderson .Paak, and Wesley Snipes before cracking the last clue and finally locating the “Caught Up” singer.
A number of Usher’s songs are played throughout the film, leading to speculation that those particular tunes will be on his show setlist.
Usher’s much-anticipated halftime performance at Super Bowl LVIII is scheduled for around 7:45-8 p.m. EST on CBS this Sunday, Feb. 12.
