Deion Sanders, aka “Prime Time,” had social media in shambles after he darted away from his ex-wife, Pilar, better than he ever did on the football field as a legendary cornerback and punt returner.
Prime, the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, and Pilar Sanders were at the game at the same time for Senior Night and the final home game for their sons Shilo and Shedeur Sanders. Both are expected to enter the NFL Draft in 2025.
Prime Time filed for divorce from Pilar Sanders in 2011 after 12 years of marital upheaval. She countered his court filing by accusing him of domestic violence and other interfamilial transgressions, for which he then sued her for defamation. They have not spoken to each other since those tumultuous court proceedings.
Therefore, it would be easy to understand why Coach Prime walked proudly with his two sons during the pre-game ceremony — and then dashed away like a running back trying to evade a defender when she got near the trio.

After the game, Pilar Sanders gave football fans a glimpse of Shilo and Shadeur Sanders’ activities behind the scenes in the locker room. The Buffaloes trounced the Oklahoma State Cowboys, 52-0.
