It’s a Ne-Yo no-no: What his ladies are NOT going to do

There are rules that apply to the R&B singer’s girlfriends that don’t apply to him

Controversial R&B superstar Ne-Yo made it unequivocally clear that his four women cannot date other men while they are together.

Ne-Yo made the declaration clear during his visit to “The Angie Martinez Show” on 105.1 in New York, where he said they have to maintain fidelity to him, but he does not have to reciprocate. This means he is free to date whomever he wishes.

Ne-Yo said his 4 girlfriends cannot date any other man

Martinez asked, “They can’t go outside the (group arrangement), but you can?

“I can,” Ne-Yo answered. “But I’m good.”

With a touch of exasperation in his voice, Ne-Yo said, “The question I get asked most often is: ‘Are they allowed to date anyone outside of me?’ That’s the question I get all the d–n time. And I’m answering it right now:

‘No,'” he said emphatically.

Ne-Yo explains the arrangement further

The 45-year-old “Give Me Everything” crooner elaborated.

“Here’s the thing: when I got with these women, I did not ask for their exclusivity. I did not demand their exclusivity. They offered it to me.”

In turn, Ne-Yo offered honesty to them, saying that just because they exemplify fidelity to him does not mean he will respond in kind.

“They said ‘yes.'”

It comes with a caveat, however, Ne-Yo explained.

“The main thing is to keep it a buck. Everything is in the open. It has to be explained,” Ne-Yo continued. “There is no random girl. Everything is talked about. Everything is discussed.”

Ne-Yo continued, saying, “We’re not going to lie. We’re not going to lie to each other. We’re not going to sit and blow smoke. I’m not selling any dreams. And I’m not forcing anybody to be here. If for whatever reason you decide that this no longer for you, the door is never locked. You have permission to go on about your business. I don’t want anyone to think that I am manipulating these women into doing something they don’t want to do. Everybody that is here is here by choice.”

Ne-Yo said the women cannot just sit at home all day

Earlier in the interview, Ne-Yo made it clear that the four women he is living with have to maintain their own jobs and help hold things down around the house.

Martinez kept peppering Ne-Yo with thought-provoking questions that he happily answered. She wanted to know “what is it about you? What are you offering, what are you doing, that has made these four women say, ‘No doubt, I’m in.'”

Ne-Yo said women will submit to the right man

Ne-Yo said it’s not complex. Women will submit if the man of the house is worthy of submission.

“Might be a better question for them, but … If I had to guess, (it’s) honesty, security … I’ve always felt that a woman will submit if you give her something worthy of submission. In a lot of cases, men get caught up in a lot of stupid stuff that makes them unworthy of submission.”

Most fans continue to look askance at the Grammy-winning singer

Most fans don’t approve of his polyamorous lifestyle.

“The women are okay with this. They like his notoriety and money. They chose to [sell] their bodies and souls for this arrangement. That’s on them 🤷🏽‍♀️.”

A second user added that the women have “Daddy issues for those women. And for Neyo too. 😓😓😓🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️.”

The third respondent opined that the women know their place in the relationship and won’t deviate from Ne-Yo’s wishes, saying, “Of course they are not…I see right through the shenanigans 🙄.”

A fourth fan claims that Ne-Yo will eventually become a victim of kismetic happenstance, saying, “He’s tryna dodge a metoo case … smart but his time is coming…..a man with daughters shld never present this energy to the world cause it will circle. 😕.”

A fifth observer added: “I’m so curious what road these women took in life that led to being a Neyo concubine. Was this really the best life had to offer?”
