BabyTron Travels Through Time in New Video ‘Lord of the Multiverse’

Detroit rapper BabyTron continues to prove he’s one of the most unorthodox and talented artists in the game. Known for his humorous, offbeat, and creative approach to music, his latest single, “Lord of the Multiverse,” puts those qualities on full display.

The video opens with BabyTron on a FaceTime call with NBA player Jordan Poole, joking about why he didn’t drop his album on his birthday — he didn’t get the number of comments he requested. Moments later, he bolts into an elevator and is transported through time, moving through decades of hip-hop — from the 1980s to the present — rapping over iconic instrumentals from each era.

It’s a nostalgic and imaginative ride that blends humor, skill, and sharp cultural references. Watch the video and see how many tracks you can recognize.

BabyTron’s upcoming album, Lukatronic 2, is now set to drop July 7, 2025.
