Rising rapper 4xtra reportedly blew off his fingers and part of his hand when he lit the fireworks in his hand on the Fourth of July.

On July 4, 4xtra posted a video of himself holding a couple of fireworks while making threatening claims to the camera. “Who wants to get blown up today?” he asked before following up with a promise to cause chaos. “I’m blowing somebody up today.”

What happened, however, is that 4xtra ended up blowing up his left hand and temporarily blinding himself from the bright flash. A photo surfaced a few hours after 4xtra’s post showing the outpsoken rapper holding his badly injured and mangled hand.

“No Jumper” owner Adam22 clarified the extent of 4xtra’s injuries, writing: “I’m hearing that 4xtra only lost 2 fingers not the whole hand. Also he was blind for a few hours but apparently his vision is back.”

This is yet another blow to “No Jumper” podcast in recent months.

“First, we lost the ‘No Jumper’ Instagram,” Adam22 said. “After almost 10 years of building it up and essentially no strikes on our account we got taken down one day and we still have absolutely no idea why.”

The “No Jumper” had  another setback when former employee Yuriy filed legal documents against the owner, claiming workplace misconduct.

“It’s insane to me that a person that we did so much for can just invent some grievances out of thin air and cost us this much money,” Adam22 said, according to Complex magazine. “As a result, this person has literally lost every single friend that he used to have when he worked at No Jumper.”

Nevertheless, Adam22 is confident the podcast will rebound and thrive once again.

“To be honest, aside from the lay-offs, I’m pretty happy about all those changes,” Adam22 confessed. “I’ve realized that I should have paid more attention to DJ Vlad and kept my overhead as low as possible, particularly in terms of staff and location. I’m confident that once we get the building sold, we will be in a pretty solid financial position again as a business.”
