If you are a Chicagoan born in the ’70s, ’80s or ’90s, house music is definitely coursing through your veins. There is no denying it. That’s why many festivals and events are being created to honor this genre and provide the pioneers their just due.

3YB House Fest (Three Yards Banging) was created on the Southeast Side of Chicago in 2004 as the result of an ultimate backyard party hosted by friends and family in the neighborhood. 3YB has grown into a tradition and just marked its 10th anniversary.

Over 600 people were present to help celebrate on the campus of the Chicago Vocational Career Academy.
