‘Love & Hip Hop’ Stars Erica Mena and Rich Dollaz engaged?

'Love & Hip Hop' Stars Erica Mena and Rich Dollaz engaged?

The original “Love & Hip Hop” may have lost its biggest couple in former cast members Chrissy Lampkin and Jim Jones, but it looks like the show is about to get a brand-new hothead couple in the form of new regulars Erica Mena and Rich Dollaz, who recently announced their engagement.

Fans of the show who have seen the supertrailer were shocked to see that Olivia’s manager, Rich, who is also Mena’s manager, was insistent on having Olivia work with the resident ho head and aspiring singer. But, much to everyone’s surprise, it turns out that Mena and Rich are actually a couple and plan to wed in the summer.

According to TheJasmineBrand, Mena dropped the news during a post-screening Q-and-A at a screening of the new season of the show.

Mena previously posted some much-talked-about Instagram photos of wedding magazinez, and when the couple was questioned about Mena’s wedding interest, Rich replied, “Because we’re gonna get married, soon. Probably this summer.”

Yes, we are engaged. That’s my girl,” Rich added. “I’m dead serious.”

However, since then, Mena and Rich have released conflicting statements about their engagement status.

“I didn’t know that we were going to tell people about it! I guess Rich decided to blurt it out. It wasn’t done intentionally. I didn’t know we were gonna announce it last night. I wasn’t expecting it. I thought we were going to keep it on the DL, but I guess he felt it was the right time,” Mena told GlobalGrind.

However, Rich told GlobalGrind that there is no engagement.

“No, I’m not! I’m not engaged. Rich Dollaz is not engaged. What happened was, I ain’t gonna say shorty was lying or nothin’, but Erica had taken some pictures on Instagram of some wedding magazine. A girl [at the party] asked her about it and asked if she was getting married and I sarcastically said, ‘Yeah, we’re getting married. Uh huh, next week we’re getting married.’ She took that, and I don’t know if the music was loud and the liquor was flowing, and she could be serious. But I was not. I was not,” Rich said.

Well, it looks like we’ll have to see how this turns out, but, hopefully, this doesn’t turn into another fake reality TV relationship like “Real Housewives of Atlanta” stars Kenya Moore and Walter Jackson.
