Pooch Hall Confirms His Return to 'The Game'

After appearing to join his costar in leaving the hit BET sitcom “The Game” Pooch Hall is confirming his return to the popular program. Hall, 35, recently took to Twitter to confirm that he’d be back for a sixth season of “The Game.” As previously reported, Pooch who plays Derwin Davis on the program, was said to have aligned with his costar Tia Mowry in her departure. “I’ve been on the show five years. I had a great time on the show,” said Mowry who plays Dewrin’s spouse Melanie on the program. “I’m very happy with what I did.”

Since then producers confirmed that two new characters would be introduced to serve as replacements for the principal leads. Kiera, a former child star who stars in a “Cosby Show”-esque sitcom was said to be replacing the Melanie character  and will be portrayed by ATL actress Lauren London. Furthermore, Derwin Davis’ character was scrapped for Bryce “The Blueprint,” an Ivy League grad turned No. 1 draft pick played by actor Jay Ellis.

But according to Hall, he’s not finished with the program — for now at least. “Yeaaahhh buddy Pooch fans i got some great news 2day,” wrote the actor on Twitter. “I’m not done yet Lol. DERWIN L I V E S.”The 2 show kid….@TheGameBET season 6 baby.”
