‘Love & Hip Hop’ Star Gives Birth

Just a few weeks after posting pictures of a star-studded baby shower, a VH1 reality star has given birth. Yandy Smith of “Love & Hip Hop” fame confirmed Monday that she gave birth to a son, Harris. And while details are skimpy, the new mom sent out a heartfelt message about her bundle of joy online. “My greatest accomplishment in life was my most difficult task in life,” wrote Smith on Instagram. “With God and my family we did it. I will forever remember this day 7/16/12. It was written in cursive for this king to exist.”

Smith only recently revealed that she was expecting a child with her longtime beau, a man named Mandeecees. Both parents were spotted at baby Harris’ baby shower alongside stars like Missy Elliot and Juelz Santana. Since announcing her baby news, Smith has been swamped by well wishes from fans and celebs alike.
