Elle Varner confirms Iman Shumpert dating rumors
A 24-year-old songstress is confirming her relationship with a 22-year-old New York Knick. As previously reported Iman Shumpert hinted to dating Elle Varner on Instagram and was later spotted vacationing with her in Aruba.
Now, apparently, the twosome are ready to come clean on their romance and did so via social media.
“Happy Birthday to my super amazing, talented, handsome, strong, sexy, intelligent BOYFRIEND!,” Varner captioned a photo of her posing with the athlete.
Varner later spoke on her new romance while walking the red carpet at the ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards.
“He’s awesome. We’ve been friends for such a long time. Of all the guys that I’ve met throughout being in the limelight he’s the one guy that really stuck it out and built a friendship with me, and it meant a lot,” Varner dished to HipHollywood.
“I’m glad I’m not hiding it anymore, it was a lot of work,” the singer added.
