B.o.B could be making a significant change in his career.
The Atlanta rapper has been one of the brightest stars on T.I.‘s Grand Hustle label for the past several years and he is also signed to superproducer Jim Jonsin‘s Rebel Rock Entertainment. But according to reports, hip-hop superstar and Shady Records head Eminem is looking to swing Bobby Ray over to his own imprint. He may have even already begun making attempts to convince B.o.B. to join Shady.
According to AllHipHop, recently Eminem has quietly offered to buy B.o.B out of his current contract with Jonsin.
It is all very muddy at this point, and its unclear how a possible move to Shady would affect B.o.B’s contract with Grand Hustle, if it would affect it at all. For his part, Jonsin has allegedly turned down Em’s initial offer.
B.o.B opened for Eminem and Jay-Z during their “Home & Home Tour” in 2010 and Eminem and B.o.B collaborated on “Airplanes, Pt. II.”Em also appeared on Bobby’s mixtape E.P.I.C. (Every Play Is Crucial) on the track “Things Get Worse.”
