Caitlyn Jenner has been receiving a plethora of praise from the world after making her debut as a woman on the cover of Vanity Fair, and she’s even gained the praise of trans celebs like Laverne Cox and Janet Mock. But Jenner recently received one of the biggest compliments of all when President Obama publicly showed his support for her transition.
Since the beginning of June, which is National Pride Month, President Obama has been sending out pro-LGBT tweets in support of equal rights.
On Monday, Obama turned his focus to Jenner and retweeted her initial message about her Vanity Fair cover, along with message of support of his own.
Although the account is run by Organizing for Action staff, it still is a big deal that a positive message connected to the White House would be published about Jenner.
