‘R&B Divas’ fired Nicci Gilbert and 2 other cast members

nicci gilbertIt’s hard to imagine a more universally reviled and repelling TV personality, in the eyes of the public, than “R&B Divas” star Nicci Gilbert. Last year, according to media reports, Gilbert had a whopping 95 percent dislike rate, which means her behavior makes most audience members throw up in their mouths.

Well, it looks like fans of the TV One show won’t have to digest her annoying antics any longer, if the recent reports prove true.

“R&B Divas Atlanta” star and former Brownstone group member Gilbert is not coming back, the ybf.com and freddyo.com reported.

TV One announced  that “R&B Divas Atlanta” and “R&B Divas LA” have both been renewed but Nicci Gilbert, Faith Evans and LaTocha Scott’s names were conspicuously absent from the lineup, the reports state.  R&B Divas

Returning divas in Atlanta include KeKe Wyatt, Angie Stone, Syleena Johnson and Monifah.  No word yet on which LA Divas will be returning.  Shooting for R&B Divas Atlanta is set to begin this month.

Don’t get too happy, Gilbert haters. Upon word that both shows are being renewed for their fourth and third seasons, respectively, Gilbert took to her Twitter account to congratulate all involved:

With the network tight lipped, we will have to wait to see if the leaked rumors turn out to be true.

get your facts right Terry. Nicci was NOT fired. DO you have something against her personally? why not interview her instead of continuing to talk bad about her. Not a good look Terry!

Media will do anything to discourage someone. Let’s get it together! All the negative energy isn’t good. All the rumors are false, the thing people will do for a story!

She’s Producer over “R&B Diva’s” as a whole, so how could she have fired herself…get your shxt straight!

Not sure where your getting your facts from but maybe you should look further into these things before you just start spreading stories

Please come correct when trying to accuse someone of being fired especially when they are the EXECUTIVE PRODUCER of the show! When you assume that only makes an a** out of you & (you know the rest).

first of all, these mfers get on my nerves speaking on some ishh that they know nothing about! I respect Nikki for stepping down. The fact that others are assuming that she was fired makes them look pathetic and desperate for something to talk about. what exectuive position do you hold!? mind your buisness.

Let’s get our facts correct please! Don’t be thirsty for a good read. When you falsely accuse people of things that are not true, it only makes you look desperate.

Nicci Gilbert was not fired she produced the show. She wanted a sensible reality show, but as she has stated before it didn’t turn out that way. So she is moving on but she got what she ultimately wanted and the reason for the show which is the Divas tour. So good job Nicci no when enough is enough and move on.

I don’t understand how “95 %” of people dislike Nicci? She’s the only person who isn’t passive. She doesn’t allow anyone to belittle her. You can tell she’s made to look like the villian. Nicci walks away from the conflicts most of the time and that’s because she doesn’t have time for foolishness! Like most women who are passionate about their careers!
