Webbie Clarifies Statements About Terrence J and Rocsi

It looks like Webbie has had a slight change of heart about “106 & Park” host Terrence J. After video hit the Web earlier this week showing an upset Webbie threatening to “beat up” Terrence, the Louisiana rapper recently called in to WGCI’s 107.5 and explained his take on the “106 & Park” ban and downplayed his beef with Terrence.

According to AllHipHop, during the interview explained that he has no problems with BET and added that he was banned from the show because Terrence, who he alleges is romantically involved with show co-host Rocsi, was jealous over Rocsi’s affection towards him.

“It ain’t nothing against me and BET. BET, I love BET, I’ve been watching BET all my life. I am BET, BET is black entertainment, you know what I’m saying?” Webbie explained. “That was some personal stuff, you know with Rocsi and Terrence you know, that’s his old lady I guess. Go look at the computer, look at the Vibe Magazine and that’s what happened.”

Referencing a recent photo from VIBE showing he and Rocsi in an embrace on the “106 & Park” stage, Webbie explained his relationship with Rocsi and added his own bit of rather pimp-like advice for Terrence as well as some encouragement for the children of America.

“Look, look, look, that Vibe magazine picture, that’s what happened. My album Nov. 15. Savage Live 3,” he added. “I knew her before I made ‘Bad B—h’, ‘Gimme that P—y’ before I started making rap, I don’t know Terrence.”

Webbie continued, “I didn’t never know her personally, I just know how we live and where we live and the picture just explains it all. I just say Terrence, get yo h- mane! Mane get yo h- mane, get yo h- mane, that yo h-, that ain’t got nothing to do with me and BET, this ain’t got nothing to do with the millions of kids that I say stay in school. I make sure to say stay in school.”

Though Webbie previously claimed that he would “slap” and “beat up” Terrence upon their next encounter, the rapper now says that the situation just isn’t that important to him anymore.

“At the end of the day that’s small, get yo h-, get yo girl,” said Webbie.

Well, Webbie may have made peace with his beef with Terrence, but considering that he’s now repeatedly referred to Rocsi as a “h-,” it’s unlikely that either Rocsi or Terrence will be inclined to see that Webbie’s ban is lifted. –nicholas robinson
