Goldie Taylor Exposes Alleged Pedophile, Prompted by Penn State Child Sex Scandal

Journalist Goldie Taylor has come forward with details of her experience of sexual abuse as a teenage girl at the hands of a high school football coach at St. Louis’ Normandy High School. A MSNBC and the Grio.com contributor and writer for the Grio.com, Taylor spoke candidly on the Nov. 14 installment of the Lawrence O’Donnell show on MSNBC about how the Penn State allegations of sexual abuse and institutional cover-up prompted her to come forward with what happened to her in high school. Taylor also wrote candidly about her story on her site, The Goldie Taylor Project. After tweeting about her anger at the machinations of officials at Penn State to hide the alleged sexual abuses of coach Jerry Sandusky, Taylor reflected on how she was also angry with herself for not coming forward in regards to what happened to her in 1984. After consulting with her mother, she decided to do so. An open letter to her followers is on her site.

“This happened 26 [or] 27 years ago and I have lived with it every day of my life,” Taylor stated on O’Donnell’s show.

A respected and award-winning journalist, Taylor was designated one of the Top 25 Women of Atlanta during rolling out’s 2011 Female Success Factor event. Steed Media is the parent company of Female Success Factor and rolling out.
