Louisiana State District Judge Tony Marabella sentenced Michael Tyler, aka Mystikal, to three months behind bars after the rapper was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of domestic abuse battery back on Feb. 22 in Ascension Parish, La.
Mystikal’s attorney, Roy Maughan Jr. told The Advocate that Mystikal was given credit for the nine days he spent in jail after his arrest in February.
“It was an unfortunate incident between two people who have cared a lot about each other for 10 years,” Maughan said of the domestic abuse battery arrest.
Mystikal’s three-month bid comes two years after he was released from state prison. He served six years for sexual battery and extortion.
Mystikal is a walking stereotype at this point. Hopefully, when he’s freed in three months, he’ll be able to stay free.
