Black Swan: The 5 Most Influential Black Ballerinas

Tai Jimenez was the only dance theater member to make a successful transition to a prominent ballet company where she then became the principal dancer in the Boston Ballet. She has appeared as a guest artist with the New York City Ballet, along with other companies across the United States. She also danced in Prince’s “Rave Unto the Year 2000.” Although, she no longer dances with a company, Jimenez continues to teach at Harvard University, the Boston Conservatory, and the Boston Ballet Summer Intensive.
