Donald Driver Sets the Bar High

Donald driver and his partner, Peta Murgatroyd, are the first up to dance, and like last week, Peta continues to push Donald with a challenging tango. And like a seasoned athlete, Donald rises to the challenge and delivers a powerful performance to the tune of Stevie Wonder’s “Higher Ground.” Len calls Donald’s performance a “first round knockout” and he’s awarded a high score of 27.

For the trio performance, Donald and Peta are joined by Karina Smirnoff as they dance a high-octane jive. Once again, Donald and his dancers thrill the judges, who call it “fun” and he’s awarded a score of 28, making his total for the night a 55.
