Katherine Jenkins Falls Hard
Former front-runner Katherine Jenkins had a lot to prove this week to remain in the game, and for the most part, she did just that. For their first dance, Ketherine and her partner, Mark Ballas, hit the stage to dance a dazzling quickstep. The judges praised Katherine’s technical precision and Carrie Ann commented that Katherine didn’t bring her “A” game; she brought her “A+” game. Katherine and Mark were rightfully awarded a high score of 29.
For their second number, the pair tried to turn up the heat with a saucy samba. Mark employed a snake charmer thing to spice things up and Katherine wore a revealing outfit to turn up the sex appeal. Things were going splendidly for the two until the end of the performance when Katherine fell (apparently, due to some back injury). Katherine was left in tears at her stumble, but the judges gave her and Mark nothing but praise and awarded them a 27, giving them a final score of 56.
