Heat’s Team Defense and Chemistry Lead to Victory
It was apparent from the opening tip that Game 3 of the NBA Finals was going to be a mental and physical grind for both teams. In response the Heat defense, led by Lebron James and Chris Bosh, held the OKC Thunder to only 42 percent shooting and only 4 of 18 from 3 point range. This had an effect on the Thunder’s free-throw shooting as they missed 9 out of 24 free throws, or 62 percent.
