Core DJ MixShowLive ATL took over the W Hotel Buckhead for the entire weekend on Aug. 18-19. There were great panel discussions with some of the biggest names in radio, music and entertainment. The event featured DJ’s and artists from all around the country. They also had some big parties and great new artist showcases. Their was a lot of card passing and CD giveaways, and people were in general getting their networking on.
The weekend closed out with the BIG Bang Grand Hustle pool party. The party was so big in fact that it had to be moved from the pool to the side deck of the W Hotel in Buckhead. The party was hosted by Core DJ Models, Deelshis, Teairra Mari, and Rasheeda. Rasheeda even performed some of her classic songs like “Do it,” “Bubble Gum,” and her new single “I Do” from her Boss Bitch 4 mix tape. She showed why she was a “Boss Bitch” not just a reality show chick (video coming soon). Twista came out and gave a few quick bars as well. Meko brought R&B flavor to the party and brought out ATLs own Diamond who put it down (wait until you see the video). Drama Boy came through and played several of his new songs.
Just when you thought the party couldn’t get any bigger TI and the Grand Hustle Crew closed it out. DOPE, one of his new groups did their thing. BOB came out of nowhere and made people go “Out of their Mind.” So TI felt compelled to perform his new song “Go Get It.” Before leaving TI said his album is coming soon and that he had recorded 100 songs, and he has it down to about 80 now, so he;s still working.
