2nd Annual Holiday Hike
Stone Mountain Park
Saturday, December 1: 10am
The hike begins at 10am, meeting in the Grist Mill parking lot (look for the Keeping It Wild banner). This hike is rated easy to moderate and will cover about 4 miles round trip. Expect a slow pace as we enjoy the Quarry Exhibit and other sites along the way. Some areas are narrow with lose gravel and a few steep steps.
If you are looking for a faster paced hike or want to go earlier in the morning, join Hartfield’s Hikers at 8 Am. This hike is rated moderate to strenuous. Expect a steady pace, hiking around Stone Mountain on the Cherokee Trail, 5 miles round trip. You can RSVP for the Hartfield’s Hikers hike here .
