While stopped at a traffic light in Washington, D.C., at the intersection of New York and New Jersey avenues shortly after midnight, a passenger of a nearby car threatened Cam’ron to “give up” his 2006 Lamborghini. When Cam’ron resisted, the man then shot him. The gunman and passenger fled and crashed into a parked car and fled the scene.
