The Zone Diet

The Zone Diet is a way of life that helps you lose fat and increases wellness by reducing cellular inflammation. The Zone diet claims that cellular inflammation is the underlying cause of not only weight gain and the acceleration of chronic disease, but also the reason behind decreasing physical, emotional and mental performance. The dietary program is pretty simple. Simply divide your plate at every meal into three equal sections. On one-third of the plate put some low-fat protein that is no bigger or thicker than the palm of your hand. Then fill the other two-thirds of the plate with colorful carbohydrates only adding a dash of fat that is low in omega-6 and saturated fats such as olive oil.
